Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She collaborates with clients to create an individualized plan, working together in a compassionate environment to better understand what they are experiencing with a focus on helping people move through challenging times.
Allison’s specialty in teletherapy was born out of her commitment to make quality therapy accessible to all. Acutely aware of the reality that there are many barriers to consistent therapy, Allison provides rich short-term and long-term support in a convenient way.
Prior to launching New York Teletherapy, Allison served as the Clinical Director of Teen Programming for a not-for-profit agency in New York City where she oversaw the treatment of hundreds of young adults on issues including peer relationships, navigating dating, bullying, gender and sexual identity, and relationship abuse. Allison then went on to complete her post-graduate training in couple and family therapy, where she developed additional expertise in helping couples overcome obstacles in their relationship, improving parent-teen relationships, and navigating co-parenting.
Allison maintains a private practice in Westchester, NY. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Social Work from Syracuse University, and advanced certification in couple and family therapy from Ackerman Institute for the Family.
